Bio
Jingyao is a Sydney-based contemporary visual artist whose work explores the dynamic interplay of movement, music, and emotion through abstract expressionism and Op Art influences.
Drawing from her early background in classical and contemporary dance, she translates bodily motion into gestural brushstrokes, infusing her compositions with rhythm and energy.
Through painting, mixed media, and digital experimentation, she challenges the boundaries of stillness and motion, inviting viewers to engage with shifting perspectives and sensory illusions. Jingyao’s art is a continual exploration of how visual stimuli and physical expression can intertwine to create a profound connection between the artwork and its audience.
