Jingyao is a contemporary visual artist whose practice bridges movement, music, and emotion through abstract expressionist painting. Drawing from her early background in classical and contemporary dance, she translates bodily motion into gestural brushstrokes, evoking rhythm and energy on the canvas. Her work, including Waltz No. 2, is inspired by the fluidity of dance and the expressive depth of music, particularly the compositions of Dmitri Shostakovich.
